HI Lisa… Well it came true! Your prediction that there would be a cure for Eric’s eye. I remember the reading pretty well, I asked about Eric, you said going back to Jack you said there would be a cure for his eye. Well it wasn’t Jack, it was Eric. He had lazy eye when he was little – something that is usually quite bad. Eric was disqualified to enter the Academy by the Department of Defense Medical Board because his vision wasn’t correctable to 20/20. When we got the letter, I made an appointment with a specialist at Emory Eye Clinic for a second opinion. The Doctor seemed to take special interest in Eric’s case. Well he went back today for a follow up and he was indeed able to correct his vision to 20/20. I have to say this too, the doctor mentioned that most people with amblyoplia have bad vision in that eye most of their lives. Needless to say, we are all very happy to see that his vision can be corrected to 20/20. So, there you go!
